Summer is here!

There is a lot to feel positive about at St Thomas as we start our summer term. The children have all come back to school eager to learn, glad to see their friends and spend time with one another. I wish I could magically share the atmosphere within school at the moment - it is just fantastic.

We have been lucky enough to work with Jenny May to teach yoga to our children in Reception, Class 1 and Class 2. She will be in school every Monday until the end of term. Mrs Morris is starting up Eco-Club again, during school time and outside in our grounds. Our reflection garden is being enjoyed by the children who love to just sit and simply chat with friends in there. The garden is coming to life thanks to the work of Miss Dipper and the children. We have been fortunate to secure more funding from charities in Herefordshire, including the Bluecoat Trust and the Freemasons, in order to further boost our range of reading books. Some beautiful books have arrived, from diverse cultures, across different religions, our favourite authors and exciting subjects.

Most importantly, I have been so impressed with the sense of unity that there is in the school. Everyone is determined to make the most of this summer term in terms of learning and in terms showing one another how much we care. Well done everyone!
