| What age can children start to come to St Thomas Cantilupe? |
Children from 2 years old can join our nursery. Children who turn 5 can join the reception class in September. Children who are moving from other schools and/or other ages can join us at any time during the school year as long as we have a space. Go to our admissions page for more information.
How do I get a nursery place for my child? |
Call us or email and book an appointment to come and visit our nursery. You will be able to meet the staff and book sessions for your child. Depending on their age your child will be entitled to funded hours which you will be able to add to with paid sessions should you wish you.
| What happens at an initial school meeting? |
Call or email us to meet the headteacher and to come and visit the school. We will show you around the classrooms, grounds and spaces within the school and you will be able to meet your child's teacher. The headteacher will be able to answer any questions that you have and we will talk through what your child can look forward to at St Thomas. We will also go through practicalities such as uniform and times of the day to make sure that information is clear.

If your child was born between 1 September 2017 and 31 August 2018 you will need to apply for a reception class place for your child to start school in September 2022.
The online application process is now open and closes on 15 January 2022.
