Bad weather/ school closure
What happens if the school needs to close? How will I know? |
If the school has to close due to snow parents will be informed via text, email and on Twitter by 7am each day. If heavy snow forces school to close early parents will be informed in the same way.
Further information is shared on local radio and Herefordshire Council's website will also be updated.
If the school has to close at any other time due to an emergency parents will be contacted via the school office.
Information about enforced school closures can be found on Herefordshire Council's Website. Click below.

These closures are usually due to adverse weather, such as snow or flooding, or problems with buildings, such as no heating or electricity or burst pipes. For details of school holidays and teacher training days visit the school dates page.
Notices will be posted on our Twitter feed and our website to inform you of any school closures and to keep you up to date with the latest developments.
