| What lunch choices are available? |
All children in Reception class and KS1 are entitled to a free school meal. If your child is in KS2 you can apply to the council to see if your income entitles you to claim free school meals.
Click below to see the choices available this term. Lunch choices need to be made a week in advance. If you are required to pay for lunches payments are made via the School Money app. The office staff will help you to set up an account.
| When does my child have a snack in the day? |
Free fruit is provided for all of our EYFS and KS1 pupils every morning at first break. Our KS2 children are encouraged to bring in a healthy fruit snack to enjoy at first break. Fruit is always made available for all children who wish to have it.
| How does my child access water during the day? |
Children are asked to bring a named water bottle, containing water, to school every day. This is so that children always have access to fresh water, during every lesson. We request that children only bring water to school rather than squash or fizzy drinks as we encourage healthy choices. We appreciate your support with this.
Milk is provided for our EYFS pupils and may be purchased each half term, through School Money, for any other pupils within the school. Please ask the school office team for more information.
| How to apply for free school meals |
Application for free school meals. All primary school children in Reception year, Year 1 and Year 2 in Herefordshire are entitled to school meals. Free school meals are available to children in other year groups if you or your partner receive benefits. If you receive benefits and your child is in Reception year, Year 1 or Year 2, please complete a free school meals application form, as the school can get extra funding if you do. You only need to complete one application form for all your children, even if they attend different schools within Herefordshire. For more details follow this link:
