A new year

2021 has begun with another lockdown and everyone thinking about how to stay safe, stay well and keep on learning.

By using Seesaw children of all ages are able to access their learning and school staff are able to support individual children with taking a step at a time to build on the progress that they are making. Feedback from parents, carers and the children themselves has been fantastic. We have adapted our curriculum to make sure that we are focusing on the most important things. We are also pleased to have been able to give every child from Y1 to Y6 their own laptop or ipad so that they are able to learn whilst they are at home. 

To keep our spirits up at this difficult time we have begun an initiative called '5 Minute Films.' Members of the St Thomas Cantilupe community, friends, ex school staff, children and one or two famous faces will be sharing stories, talking about their lives and simply being there to remind everyone that they are part of our school family.
