We are proud to say that we have successfully achieved the bronze and silver Eco schools award and are now working towards our first green flag award.

Today, we welcomed Andrew Wood from the ‘School’s Recycling Project’ into school to talk about the wonderful work he does throughout Hereford encouraging people to recycle as much as possible rather than send to land fill. As well as leading an assembly, during which the children had the opportunity to ask lots of questions, he also brought along with him William the Bull. William is a life-sized bull made from wire, currently being filled with plastic bottle tops. These will then be used to make classroom furniture. Each child in school had the chance to post a bottle top into William to show our support!
